Tada Figure

Tin bronze - 14th/16th century

This small stanging figure carring a staff in his hand wears a decorated cap, necklace, and skirt.  The kidney-shaped mouth and large eyes with raised outline are seen on several of the Tsoede bronzes.   The staff is found on sculptures in Benin but thought to have been made in Owo.
