Aboru, Aboye!! Baba, as always, a stupendous work. Adupe Pupo!! Ekushe!! Baba Efundele Olashegun
Hello, Happy New Year ! Does anyone have any relatives deceased or living that were involved with the freemasons ? Please contact me. Thanks
Idigba O, Alaafia to the host and all the eyes who will see this post. Aboru, Aboye, Abosise gbogbo babalawo patapata agba aiye. I am still so happy for the work that Ifaolofin has presented on this site. It is a place many of us can come and summit comments, share ideas, and keep in contact with people of a "like mind". It is my wish to make a call to all Ifa priests in America and let us put a conference together that would address Ifa's future in America. We need to stand more united for the stability of our religion and our people. Ifa laiye o. Ifa will inherit the world. Truth the traveller of the narrow path , lies the traveller of the broad way. To ever so be truthful is the one the Dieties will help. I am interested in any conversation about how we can represent Ifa in the country in the magnitude that Ifa and the Orisa's deserves to be represented. To anyone who is interested I along with other Babalawo will be speaking on IFA at the 125th Street State office building Harlem New York 2nd floor on January 19, 2003 at 11am sharp. All Ifa priest who would like to contribute to this lecture please e-mail me. We would especially like people to chant and sing song about IFA that are not common to the lukumi experience only. Come and let IFA be represent in a wonderful way. ......................Aboru Aboye, Ifakunle...

I believe in the Ifa way of looking at everything. It has worked to re-awaken my spirit, or better said, awaken me. Your site represents the dynamic truth found in the teaching of Ifa. I wonder if anyone can give me some guidence. My problem is that I am not African in decent, at least visually, and I often feel like an outsider. I am half white and half Mestiso American. Where do I fit in now?

I AM GREATLY IMPRESSED BY YOUR PAGE ....KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
First I would like to thank my ancestors for their blessings along with my Guardian Angel for guiding me into Santeria, and also saving me from those followers who are blinded by greed and decitfullness. I feel such warmth in my heart to know that so many of us are united in this beautiful religion with it's mysteries and blessing. I have recieved some of the fundamentos of the religion, and with the blessings de Dios y los Santos I will be led towards my destiny. I would like to learn some prayers and lyrics in english and in the original Yourba language. If anyone can recommend either books or tapes please email me. Thank you for this site, and Blessings to all.
hello and thank you so much for your website. i know very little about the yoruba religion. i am a young african american woman, who has been searching for the correct spiritual path for my children and i. recently i started reading books about traditional african religion and browsing the web for information. i have found it to be so closed and complicated to enter. your website has been the most useful to me so far. i greatly appreciate it.
Thank You so much for your web site I spent hours there, it was so wonderful, so full of information and feeling. Dedicating the web page to Baba was a beautiful thing to do. I met Baba Alafia about a year ago, he will be missed by many. I believe your site to be very helpful for those new to the religion, and those who just want to be informed about Ifa. I really enjoyed your creativity in doing the story of creation. It made a wonderful journey. Please don't stop.
I am a catholic person, But I really like your web site it is very interesting to know another religion. Who ever has done this is very good at this. Good bye
Name: Iris Hooper
Alafia, It was sad to hear the news of Baba's passing. He will be missed. Where should one send donations for the family? Ohio or New York?
This is an excellent site, with great links. I first came across this site back in 99'. For me this website provided me with my initial back ground into the 16 odu. Also I would like to add that I had the honor of receiving my warriors from the late Baba Alaafia earlier this year. May his soul experience safe passage to the ancestral realm. Ase
Add your AFRICAN sites to this new AFRICAN web directory ! www.linksforafrica.com
I enjoyed this site truly. I am so glad there is a website to explaine The yuroba culture. I went to the Story part of this site and It took too long to tell. Maybe if you put the story of the creation in an paragraph form it will take less time. Thanxs
I find wonderful that many people are taking in our bill beautiful religion, this beautiful religion that so many beautiful things me had given in the life, to find the correct road to arrive to her is not sometimes easy, because they exist many people that have taken charge of stealing, to lie, to deceive and to swindle a lot of people that tries to look for solution to their problems for this road. My only advice is that they are not disappointed and that they continue fighting for all the things in that you believe ahead and that at the end of the road she is its angel of the guard waiting for you it stops this way to fill its life of love and good things..

I would like to learn more about the Yoruba religion. I would like to find someone to teach me the songs, rites and proper way to go about becoming a member. I want to find a positive aspect, nothing negative. I would like to be initiated into the Yoruba culture.
